Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-‘Abbas informed us; he said: ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz al-Baghawi informed us; he said: Mahmud ibn Ghaylan related to us; he said: ‘Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Shaqiq related to us, from Ibn al-Mubarak, who said: “The Quran is the speech of Allah: neither Creator nor created.”
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْبَغَوِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ , عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ: الْقُرْآنُ كَلَامُ اللَّهِ لَيْسَ بِخَالِقٍ وَلَا مَخْلُوقٍ
