380 — Shaykh Abu Hamid Ahmad ibn Abi Tahir al-Faqih, may Allah have mercy on him, informed us: Umar ibn Ahmad al-Wa‘iz informed us; Muhammad ibn Harun al-Hadrami narrated to us; al-Qasim ibn al-‘Abbas al-Shaybani narrated to us; Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from ‘Amr ibn Dinar, who said:
“I met nine of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who would say: ‘Whoever says that the Quran is created is a disbeliever.’”
٣٨٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ ﵀ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَاعِظُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ , عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ: أَدْرَكْتُ تِسْعَةً مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُونَ: مَنْ قَالَ الْقُرْآنُ مَخْلُوقٌ؛ فَهُوَ كَافِرٌ
