366—Ahmad ibn Ubayd informed us. He said: Ali ibn Abd Allah ibn Mubashshir informed us. He said: Abu al-Ash'ath narrated to us. He said: Al-Mu'tamir narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Nadrah, from Ibn Abbas, who said:
“A caller will call out before the Blast, and both the living and the dead will hear it. Then Allah Most High will descend to the lowest heaven and say, ‘To whom belongs sovereignty today? To Allah, the One, the All-Subduing.’”
I say: This is the position of Nu'aym ibn Hammad, Ishaq ibn Rahawayh, Hisham ibn Ubayd Allah al-Razi, Sa'id ibn Rahmah al-Massisī—the companion of Ibn al-Mubarak—and Abu Ishaq al-Fazari.
٣٦٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ , عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: يُنَادِي الْمُنَادِي بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الصَّيْحَةِ فَيَسْمَعُهَا الْأَحْيَاءُ وَالْمَوْتَى , وَيَنْزِلُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيا فَيَقُولُ: لِمَنِ الْمُلْكُ الْيَوْمَ؟ لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ قُلْتُ: وَهَذِهِ دَلَالَةُ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ , وَإِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ , وَهِشَامِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّازِيِّ , وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ رَحْمَةَ الْمِصِّيصِيِّ صَاحِبِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ , وَأَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيِّ.
