And among the scholars of Egypt were: Haywah ibn Shurayh, al-Layth ibn Sa‘d, and Abdullah ibn Lahi‘ah.
Then, after them: Abdullah ibn Wahb, Ashhab ibn Abd al-Aziz, Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, Abu Ibrahim Isma‘il ibn Yahya al-Muzani, and Abu Ya‘qub
وَمِنْ أَهْلِ مِصْرَ:
حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، وَاللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ.
وَمِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ: عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، وَأَشْهَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، وَأَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمُزَنِيُّ، وَأَبُو يَعْقُوبَ
