341—Muhammad ibn Abd Allah al-Juʿfi informed us: Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Duhaym informed us: Ahmad ibn Hazim narrated to us: Musaddad and Abu Maʿmar both said: Abd al-Warith narrated to us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Suhayb, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Saʿid, that Gabriel came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, “Are you suffering, O Muhammad?” He replied, “Yes.” He said:
“In the name of Allah, I recite a healing supplication over you, from everything that harms you, and from the evil of every soul and evil eye. May Allah cure you. In the name of Allah, I recite a healing supplication over you.”
Muslim transmitted it.
342—Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hatim mentioned it, saying: Abu Zurʿah—that is, al-Razi—narrated to us: Ibrahim ibn Ziyad, whose epithet was Sabalan, narrated to us: ʿAbbad ibn ʿAbbad narrated to us: Mujalid narrated to us, from Abu al-Waddak, from Abu Saʿid al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Mudar will surely strike down the servants of Allah until no name of Allah is worshipped.”
