340—Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ʿUrwah informed us: Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Saʿid narrated to us: ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿImran al-ʿAbidi narrated to us: ʿAbd al-ʿAziz ibn Muhammad al-Darawardi narrated to us, from Yazid ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Had, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, from Abu Salamah ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman, from ʿA’ishah, that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted by an ailment, Gabriel would recite a healing supplication over him, saying:

“In the name of Allah, I treat you: may He cure you of every illness, and from the evil of every one who casts an evil eye, and from the evil of every envier when he envies.” ⦗235⦘

Muslim transmitted it.
