al-Muqri, and Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr al-Humaydi—may Allah be pleased with them all.
Among the Successors from Syria and al-Jazira, or those counted among the people of these two regions, were: Abdullah ibn Muhayriz, Raja ibn Haywah, Ubadah ibn Nusayy, Maymun ibn Mihran, and Abd al-Karim ibn Malik al-Jazari.
Then, after them: Abd al-Rahman ibn Amr al-Awza'i, and Muhammad ibn al-Walid
الْمُقْرِي، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ﵃ أَجْمَعِينَ.
وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ وَالْجَزِيرَةِ أَوْ مَنْ يُعَدُّ فِيهِمَا مِنَ التَّابِعِينَ:
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَيْرِيزٍ، وَرَجَاءُ بْنُ حَيْوَةَ، وَعُبَادَةُ بْنُ نُسَيٍّ، وَمَيْمُونُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ، وَعَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْجَزَرِيُّ.
ثُمَّ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ:
عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ
