282—Al-Hasan ibn Uthman informed us; he said: Ahmad ibn Hamdan informed us; he said: Ahmad ibn al-Hasan narrated to us; he said: Abd al-Samad Mardawayh narrated to us; he said: I heard al-Fudayl ibn Iyad say: “A believer refrains when faced with a doubtful matter. Whoever visits an adherent of religious innovation has no inviolability. When Allah loves a servant, He grants him success in performing righteous deeds. So draw near to Allah through love for the poor.”
