275—Al-Hasan ibn Uthman informed us; he said: Ahmad informed us; he said: Ahmad ibn al-Hasan informed us; he said: Abd al-Samad narrated to us; he said: I heard al-Fudayl say: Ibn al-Mubarak said, “I have never seen wealth more swiftly obliterated than the wealth of an adherent of religious innovation.”

And he said, “O Allah, do not let an adherent of religious innovation have a favor over me, lest my heart come to love him.”
