2808 – ʿAlī ibn ʿUmar reported: ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd Allāh, the associate of al-Ḥalīmī, narrated to us; he said: ʿAlī ibn Ḥarb narrated to us; he said: Fudayl narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujāhid, who said:

“I questioned Ibn ʿAbbās for an entire month about a man who fasts during the day and stands in prayer at night yet never attends the Friday prayer or the regular congregational prayer. He replied, ‘He is among the people of Hellfire.’”
