2807 – Muhammad narrated to us; ʿAbdān narrated to us; Sumiʿūn said … ; he said: Muhammad ibn Khāzim narrated to us, from Abū al-Janād al-Halabī, from Abū Sulaymān al-Hamdānī, from ʿAlī, who said:

“Near the end of time a people will emerge who bear a nickname—they will be called the Rāfiḍah and will be known by it. They claim to be our Shiʿah, but they are not of our Shiʿah. Their distinguishing mark is that they revile Abū Bakr and ʿUmar. Wherever you encounter them, kill them, for they are polytheists.”
