272—Al-Hasan ibn Uthman informed us; he said: Ahmad ibn Hamdan informed us; he said: Ahmad ibn al-Hasan narrated to us; he said: Abd al-Samad narrated to us; he said: I heard al-Fudayl ibn Iyad say:
“No deed of the adherent of religious innovation is raised to Allah.”
٢٧٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ , قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْفُضَيْلَ بْنَ عِيَاضٍ يَقُولُ: «لَا يُرْفَعُ لِصَاحِبِ بِدْعَةٍ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَمَلٌ»
