2804 – ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh informed us; Muḥammad ibn ʿUmar related to us; Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd Allāh narrated to us; Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us; Fudayl—meaning Ibn Marzūq—said: I heard al-Ḥusayn ibn al-Ḥasan say to a man from the Rāfiḍah, “By Allah, killing you is an act that draws one closer to Allah, and the only thing that keeps me from doing so is the covenant of protection (al-jawār).”
