267—He also said: I heard al-Fudayl say:
“I met the finest of people; all of them were adherents of the sunnah, and they would warn against the people of religious innovation.”
٢٦٧ - قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ الْفُضَيْلَ يَقُولُ: «أَدْرَكْتُ خِيَارَ النَّاسِ , كُلُّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ سُنَّةٍ , وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنْ أَصْحَابِ الْبِدَعِ»
