2749 – ʿĪsā ibn ʿAlī reported to us; he said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-Baghawī reported to us; he said: ʿUbayd Allāh ibn ʿUmar narrated to us; he said: Ḥammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Hishām ibn ʿUrwah, from his father, from ʿĀʾishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said, “I saw you twice in a dream before I married you: I saw an angel carrying you, wrapped in a silk cloth. I said to him, ‘Uncover her,’ so he uncovered, and there you were. I then said, ‘If this matter is from Allah, He will bring it to completion.’”
