264—He said: I also heard al-Fudayl say:
“Do not entrust an adherent of religious innovation with your religion; do not consult him concerning your affairs; and do not sit with him. Whoever sits with an adherent of religious innovation, Allah will afflict him with blindness.”
٢٦٤ - قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ الْفُضَيْلَ يَقُولُ: «صَاحِبُ الْبِدْعَةِ لَا تَأْمَنْهُ عَلَى دِينِكَ , وَلَا تُشَاوِرْهُ فِي أَمْرِكَ , وَلَا تَجْلِسْ إِلَيْهِ , فَمَنْ جَلَسَ إِلَى صَاحِبِ بِدْعَةٍ وَرَّثَهُ اللَّهُ الْعَمَى»
