2725 – Muḥammad reported to us; he said: Yaḥyā reported to us; he said: Ibrāhīm ibn Saʿīd reported to us; he said: Ismāʿīl ibn Qays ibn Saʿd ibn Zayd ibn Thābit al-Anṣārī reported to us; he said: Abū Ḥāzim related to me, from Sahl ibn Saʿd al-Sāʿidī, who said:

“We were with the Messenger of Allah during a time of extreme heat. The Messenger of Allah rose to bathe, and al-ʿAbbās ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib stood shielding him from view. When the Messenger of Allah noticed him, he said, ‘O Allah, veil al-ʿAbbās and his children from the Fire.’”
