2712 – Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn al-ʿAbbas related to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi told us; he said: ʿUthman ibn Abi Shaybah told us; he said: ʿAli ibn Mushir told us, from Ismaʿil ibn Abi Khalid, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim:

“I saw Talhah’s hand—the very hand with which he protected the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Day of Uhud—and it had become paralyzed.”
