2711 – Jaʿfar narrated to us; he said: Muḥammad narrated to us; he said: Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq narrated to us; he said: Shabāb al-ʿUsfurī narrated to us; he said: Wahb ibn Jarīr narrated to us; he said: my father narrated to us; he said: Ibn Isḥāq narrated to us, from Yaḥyā ibn ʿAbbād ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Zubayr, from his father, from his grandfather, from al-Zubayr ibn al-ʿAwwām, who said:

“When we went up with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, toward Uḥud, the Messenger of Allah wished to mount a boulder. Ṭalḥah ibn ʿUbayd Allah knelt down, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stepped onto his back until he stood atop the rock.”
