2710 – Jaʿfar likewise said: Muḥammad narrated to us; he said: Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq narrated to us; he said: Muʿallā ibn Manṣūr narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us; he said: Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq related to me, from Yaḥyā ibn ʿAbbād ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Zubayr, from his father, from his grandfather ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Zubayr, from al-Zubayr ibn al-ʿAwwām, who said:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: ‘Ṭalḥah has earned it for himself on the Day of Uḥud.’”
