2702 – Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad and ʿUthmān ibn Muḥammad related to us; they said: Muḥammad ibn Manṣūr ibn Abī al-Jahm narrated to us; he said: Ḥumayd ibn Masʿadah narrated to us; he said: Ḥammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Hishām ibn ʿUrwa, from his father, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Every prophet has a hawārī (close disciple), and al-Zubayr is my hawārī and the son of my paternal aunt.”
