2699 – Ahmad ibn al-Faraj ibn Mansur narrated to us; he said: Yazid ibn al-Hasan al-Bazzar narrated to us; he said: al-Hasan ibn ʿArafah narrated to us; he said: Marwan ibn Muʿawiyah, from Hashim ibn Hashim al-Zuhri, from ʿAmir ibn Saʿd, who said: I heard Saʿd ibn Abi Waqqas say, “On the Day of Uhud the Messenger of Allah ﷺ emptied his quiver for me and said, ‘Shoot! May my father and mother be ransomed for you.’” ⦗1487⦘ It was recorded by al-Bukhari.
