2694 – Ahmad also reported to us; Muhammad reported to us; Ahmad reported to us; Khalid ibn Khidash reported to us, saying: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, saying: Ayub said, “I heard Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad say, ‘By Allah, we do not know everything they ask us about, and indeed there are others who are more knowledgeable than we are.’”
