- ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿĪsā related to us; he said: ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad al-Miṣrī ⦗1482⦘ narrated to us; he said: Abū Zayd ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ḥātim narrated to us; he said: ʿUmar ibn Khālid narrated to us; he said: Zuhayr ibn Muʿāwiyah, from ʿUrwah, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Qushayr, said: “I met Abū Jaʿfar Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī testifying that Abū Bakr is al-Ṣiddīq and ʿUmar is al-Fārūq—may Allah be pleased with them both—while the Rāfiḍah deny that.”
٢٦٨٥ - أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى، قَالَ: أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ⦗١٤٨٢⦘ الْمِصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو زَيْدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ: نا عُمَرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: نا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُشَيْرٍ، قَالَ: لَقِيتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ يَشْهَدُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ: الصِّدِّيقُ وَعُمَرَ: الْفَارُوقُ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا، وَالرَّافِضَةُ تُنْكِرُ ذَلِكَ
