256—Ahmad ibn Ubayd informed us. He said: Muhammad ibn al-Husayn informed us. He said: Ahmad ibn Zuhayr narrated to us. He said: Hudbah narrated to us. He said: Hazm ibn Abi Hazm narrated to us. He said: Asim al-Ahwal narrated to us. He said: Qatadah said: “O al-Ahwal, when a man introduces a religious innovation, it ought to be mentioned so that people may beware of it.”
