2645 – Muhammad ibn ʿUthman ibn Muhammad reported to us; he said: Aḥmad ibn al-Jarrāḥ ⦗1462⦘ narrated to us; he said: Ismāʿīl ibn Abī al-Ḥārith narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn al-Qāsim narrated to us; he said: Zuhayr, from Abū al-Zubayr, from Jābir, said: “We used to recognize a man’s hypocrisy by his hatred for ʿAlī.”
