2643 – Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman related to us; he said: Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Saʿid narrated to us; he said: Hilal ibn Bishr narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Musa al-Ṭawīl, from Abu Hashim Ṣāḥib al-Rummān (the pomegranate merchant), from Zādān, from Salmān—may Allah be pleased with him—said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say to ʿAlī, “Whoever loves you loves me, and whoever hates you hates me.”
