2610 – Muhammad ibn Rizq-Allah related to us; he said: ‘Uthman ibn Ahmad related to us; he said: Ahmad ibn Yahya al-Hulwani narrated to us; he said: ‘Abbad ibn Musa narrated to us; he said: Hazim … al-Hudhayl, from ‘Ammar ibn Yasir, said: “Whoever ranks anyone above Abu Bakr and ‘Umar from among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has thereby demeaned twelve thousand of the Messenger of Allah’s Companions.”
