2561 – Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman told us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi told us; he said: ʿAbbas ibn al-Walid narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn Yazid narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Ziyad, from Muslim ibn Yasar, reported:

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at ʿUthman and said, ‘He resembles Abraham, peace be upon him, and indeed the angels feel shy before him.’”
