2500 – Abū Ḥāmid said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān related it to us once again, through Sufyān, from ʿAbd al-Malik, and in al-Thawrī’s version he did not mention Zāʾidah: “Follow the guidance of ʿAmmār, and hold fast to the covenant of Ibn Umm ʿAbd.”
