2490 – I, Muhammad, and I, ʿAbd Allah, were informed by Hārūn ibn Isḥāq ⦗1392⦘ al-Hamadhānī, who said: Abū Khālid al-Aḥmar narrated to us, from Ibn ʿAjlān, Hishām ibn al-Ghāz, and Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq, from Makḥūl, from Ghuḍayf, from Abū Dharr, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, “Indeed, Allah has placed the truth upon ʿUmar’s tongue, and he speaks in accordance with it.”
