2478 – Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman reported to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad reported to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn Muṭiʿ narrated to us; he said: Ismaʿil ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us. Salih ibn Malik also related to me; he said: ʿAbd al-ʿAziz ibn ʿAbd Allah narrated to us. My grandfather likewise related to me; he said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us—each of them transmitting from Humayd, from Anas—that the Prophet ﷺ said:

“I entered Paradise, and there before me was a palace of gold. I asked, ‘Whose palace is this?’ They replied, ‘It belongs to a young man from Quraysh.’ I thought it might be me, so I asked, ‘And who is he?’ ⦗1386⦘ They answered, ‘ʿUmar ibn al-Khattab.’”

The wording is that of ʿAbd Allah ibn Muṭiʿ.
