2445 – ʿUbayd Allah b. Muhammad b. Ahmad informed us; he said: Jaʿfar b. Muhammad b. Nusayr narrated to us; he said: Yahya b. Muhammad b. al-Bakhtari narrated to us; he said: Muhammad b. ʿUbayd b. Hassab narrated to us; he said: Yusuf b. Yaʿqub al-Majishun related to me, saying: Ibn Shihab told me, “One of the distinctive merits of Abu Bakr al-Ṣiddīq is that he never, at any time, doubted or denied the coming of the Last Hour.”
