2382 – Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Makhlad narrated to us; he said: Bishr ibn Matar narrated to us; he said: Sufyan ibn ʿUyaynah narrated, from Jamiʿ ibn Abi Rashid, from Abu Waʾil, that a man spoke ill of Umm Salama—this is his exact wording—so ʿUmar ordered that he be given two hundred lashes.
