- ʿAbd Allāh ibn Aḥmad informed us; he said: al-Ḥusayn ibn Yaḥyā narrated to us; he said: al-Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad al-Ṣabbāḥ narrated to us; he said: ʿAffān narrated to us; he said: Shuʿbah, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Jabr, from Anas, reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: “A sign of faith is love for the Anṣār (the Helpers), and a sign of hypocrisy is hatred for the Anṣār.” ⦗1315⦘ Al-Bukhārī and Muslim also transmitted it on the authority of Shuʿbah.
٢٣٣٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّبَّاحُ، قَالَ: نا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: نا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «آيَةُ الْإِيمَانِ حُبُّ الْأَنْصَارِ، وَآيَةُ النِّفَاقِ بُغْضُ الْأَنْصَارِ» ⦗١٣١٥⦘ أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ، وَمُسْلِمٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ
