2324 – Muhammad ibn Rizq Allah informed us, saying: Ahmad ibn ʿIsa informed us; he said: Abu Muslim narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-ʿAziz ibn al-Khattab narrated to us; he said: Yunus ibn Bukayr told me, on the authority of Abu Jaʿfar—that is, Muhammad ibn ʿAli ibn al-Hasan—who said: “Whoever is unaware of the virtue of Abu Bakr and ʿUmar is, in fact, unaware of the Sunnah.”
