2313 – Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn al-ʿAbbas informed us; he said: ʿAbdullah ibn Muhammad ibn ʿAbdullah al-Baghawi narrated to us; he said: Qatan ibn Nusayr narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Warith narrated to us; he said: Saʿid ibn Jumhan said:

ʿAbdullah ibn Abi Awfa asked me, “What happened to your father?” I replied, “The Azariqah killed him.” He said, “May Allah curse them—the dogs of the Fire,” and he repeated this three times. I then asked, “Is that only for the Azariqah, or for all of the Khawarij?” He answered, “All of the Khawarij are the dogs of the Fire.”
