219—Muhammad ibn al-Husayn informed us. Da‘laj ibn Ahmad informed us. Ahmad ibn Ali narrated to us. Mansur ibn Abi Muzahim narrated to us. Anbasah al-Khath‘ami—who was among the righteous—narrated to us, saying: I heard Ja‘far ibn Muhammad say: “Beware of disputation in matters of religion, for it preoccupies the heart and gives rise to hypocrisy.”
٢١٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ , قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ الْخَثْعَمِيُّ , وَكَانَ مِنَ الْأَخْيَارِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ يَقُولُ: «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْخُصُومَاتِ فِي الدِّينِ فَإِنَّهَا تُشْغِلُ الْقَلْبَ , وَتُورِثُ النِّفَاقَ»
