2275 – ʿIsa ibn ʿAli narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Ziyad ibn Farwah al-Bakri narrated to us; he said: Abu Shihab narrated to us, from Layth ibn Abi Sulaym, from Abu Fazarah, from Yazid al-Asamm, from Ibn ʿAbbas, who said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three traits; whoever is free of them, Allah may forgive whomever He wills: one who dies without associating anything with Allah, one who is neither a sorcerer nor a follower of sorcerers, and one who harbors no spite against his brother."
٢٢٧٥ - أنا عِيسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، قَالَ: نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ فَرْوَةَ الْبَكْرِيُّ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي فَزَارَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: " ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ فِيهِ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ: مَنْ مَاتَ وَلَمْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ سَاحِرًا يَتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْقِدْ عَلَى أَخِيهِ "
