2251 – ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Ziyad informed us; Makki ibn ʿAbdan informed us; ʿAbd Allah ibn Hashim narrated to us; Yahya ibn Saʿid narrated to us; Humayd narrated; he said: Anas reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:

“I entered Paradise and there I was by a river whose banks were lined with pavilions of pearl. I dipped my hand into ⦗1263⦘ the midst of its water, and it gave off the scent of the finest musk. I asked, ‘O Gabriel, what is this?’ He replied, ‘This is al-Kawthar which Allah has granted you—or which your Lord has granted you.’”
