2230 – Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān informed us; Yahyā ibn Muḥammad ibn Ṣāʿid narrated to us; al-Ḥusayn ibn al-Ḥasan narrated to us; al-Haytham ibn Jamīl narrated to us; ʿAlī ibn ʿAlī al-Rifāʿī, from al-Ḥasan, from Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī, who said:

“On the Day of Resurrection people will be presented three times. The first two occasions are for disputation and excuses, while at the third the records will be flung open—one person receiving his book in his right hand and another in his left.”
