2228 – ʿUbayd Allah ibn Ahmad informed us; al-Ḥusayn ibn Ismāʿīl informed us; Muhammad ibn al-Walid narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Abi ʿAdi narrated to us, from Shuʿbah, from al-ʿAlaʾ, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “You will most certainly render the rights to their owners on the Day of Resurrection, until even the hornless sheep will receive retribution from the horned one that butted it.” Muslim recorded it.
