2219 – ʿAbd Allah ibn Ahmad told us; al-Ḥusayn ibn Ismaʿil told us; Saʿid ibn Yahya al-Umawi told us; he said: my father narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ʿAmr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Death will be brought forth and stationed on the Bridge. Then it will be proclaimed, ‘People of Paradise!’ They will look out, fearful and anxious lest they be driven from the place they now occupy. It will be said, ‘Do you recognize this?’ They will reply, ‘Yes, our Lord—this is death.’ It will then be ordered and slaughtered upon the Bridge. After that ⦗1251⦘ He will say to both parties, ‘Eternity, eternity! In it you shall abide forever; there shall never again be death therein.’”
