2206 – Kūhiyy ibn al-Ḥasan reported to us; Aḥmad ibn al-Qāsim reported to us. He said: al-Ḥārith ibn Asad al-Muḥāsibī narrated to us. He said: Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us; he said: Shuʿbah narrated to us—

2207 – And ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad likewise told us. The two of them said: ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Yazīd narrated to us; he said: my father narrated to us; he said: Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us; he said: Shuʿbah, from al-Qāsim ibn Abī Bazza, from ʿAṭāʾ al-Kaykhārānī, from Umm al-Dardāʾ, from Abū al-Dardāʾ, who traced it back to the Prophet ﷺ:

“There is nothing that is placed in the Balance”—in al-Ḥārith’s version the words “on the Day of Resurrection” are added—“that is heavier than good character.”
