Section: Texts that have reached us establishing that belief in the weighing of good and evil deeds on the Balance is obligatory.
Allah, Exalted is He, says:
“We shall set up the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be wronged in the least. Even if it be no more than the weight of a mustard seed, We shall bring it forth, and sufficient are We as Reckoners.” (al-Anbiyāʾ 47)
He, Most High, also says:
“Whoever’s scales are heavy—it is they who will succeed; but whoever’s scales are light—it is they who have ruined themselves; in Hell they will abide forever.” (al-Muʾminūn 103)
And He says:
“The weighing on that Day is the truth. Whoever’s scales are heavy—it is they who will prosper.” (al-Aʿrāf 8)
سِيَاقُ مَا رُوِيَ فِي أَنَّ الْإِيمَانَ بِأَنَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ وَالسَّيِّئَاتِ تُوزَنُ بِالْمِيزَانِ وَاجِبٌ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷿: ﴿وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا وَإِنْ كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا وَكَفَى بِنَا حَاسِبِينَ﴾ [الأنبياء: ٤٧] ، وَقَالَ تَعَالَى: ﴿فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ، وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ فِي جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ﴾ [المؤمنون: ١٠٣] ، وَقَالَ تَعَالَى: ﴿وَالْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ﴾ [الأعراف: ٨]
