A presentation of the prophetic reports affirming that Jews and Christians who die outside the faith of Islam will enter the Fire.
Allah, Exalted is He, says: “But whoever among the factions rejects it—the Fire shall be his appointed place.” (Hud 11:17)
It is transmitted from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr and Qatādah that the pronoun "it" in the verse refers to the Jews and Christians. Al-Suddi said concerning the same verse, “and whoever rejects it from among the factions”—the ‘factions’ here means Quraysh.
سِيَاقُ مَا رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى إِذَا مَاتُوا عَلَى غَيْرِ مِلَّةِ الْإِسْلَامِ يَدْخُلُونَ النَّارَ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷿: ﴿وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهِ مِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ فَالنَّارُ مَوْعِدُهُ﴾ [هود: ١٧] ، فَرُوِيَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، وَقَتَادَةَ أَنَّ «الْهَاءَ» رَاجِعٌ إِلَى الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى. وَعَنِ السُّدِّيِّ: ﴿وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهِ مِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ﴾ [هود: ١٧] " الْأَحْزَابُ: قُرَيْشٌ "
