2198 — Al-Hasan ibn ʿUthmān related to us; Ismāʿīl ibn Muḥammad related to us; ʿAbbās ibn Muḥammad al-Dūrī related to us; Yūnus ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, from Ghālib al-Qaṭṭān, who said: ⦗1240⦘ A man asked al-Ḥasan about the “severe reckoning.” He said, “What is the severe reckoning, Abū Saʿīd?” Al-Ḥasan replied, “The severe reckoning is when a servant is taken to task for all his sins and not a single one of them is forgiven.”
