2184 – Ahmad narrated to us; ʿAli narrated to us. He said: Ahmad narrated to us; al-Qaʿnabi narrated to us. He said: Yazid ibn Zurayʿ narrated to us, from Sulayman al-Taymi, from Aslam al-ʿIjli, from Bishr ibn Shighaf, from ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAmr, who said: A Bedouin asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, “What is the Trumpet (al-ṣūr)?” He replied, “It is a horn that will be blown into.”
