2183 – Ahmad ibn ʿUbayd related to us; ʿAli ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Mubashshir informed us; Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us. He said: Abu Muʿawiyah narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Saʿd al-Taʾi, from ʿAṭiyyah, from Abu Saʿid, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned the bearer of the Trumpet and said, “To his right is Gabriel, and to his left is Michael.”
