2164 – al-Ḥasan ibn ʿUthmān narrated to us; he said: Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā ibn ʿUmar narrated to us; he said: ʿAlī ibn Ḥarb narrated to us; he said: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from ʿUbayd Allah ibn Abī Yazīd, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: “The spirits of the martyrs roam inside birds whose bodies perch upon the fruits of Paradise.”
